MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The Latin Pop mainstream has been affected through his worldwide popularity. Una Lady Como Tu, his hit from 2016, received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Favorite Song. His debut album ADN was made available through La Industria Inc., a Medellin-based Sony distribution company. Its Top Latin Albums chart ranked ADN at the 8th spot. Following that year, he collaborated with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca which climbed to the top of five on the chart of Top Latin Albums. Mala Influencia, made available in 2020 by Noriel and her Dopamina album the following year. Then in 2021 he sang an duet with TINI's streaming smash track Maldita Foto. 2000 which included the smash song La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo was a member of the musical home of his family. Both his younger brother and his mother are each musicians. According to Turizo, music was an integral part of his life. He was taught how to play the saxophone, guitar, Ukulele, and piano while an infant. Although he initially wanted to work as a vet, Julian convinced him that having lessons from a Cuban singing teacher would change his direction in life.
